Offset has made his grand return with his long-anticipated sophomore album, “Set It Off,” marking his first solo LP in four years.

This extensive 21-track project is a star-studded affair, featuring appearances from industry heavyweights such as Cardi B, Future, Travis Scott, Latto, Don Toliver, and more. Offset dropped a couple of singles to tease fans, including “Jealousy” with Cardi and “Fan.” His debut solo album, “Father of 4,” produced the multi-platinum hit “Clout.”

Since his last solo release, Offset has had to endure the loss of TakeOff, who was tragically shot and killed in Houston last year. Reflecting on his journey and the profound impact of TakeOff’s passing, the “Clout” rapper shared his feelings in a recent interview with Apple Music, explaining, “Even on my own journey, I still feel his presence and his energy. Bro, we have to go hard. We have to win. This ain’t the end of it. We have to win. So that’s another thing that pushed me through is my boy, Take, man. He didn’t care that he didn’t care about the numbers, nothing. He was like, ‘Bro, y’all’s s**t is hard.’ He’s just very supportive of that. I just keep that in the back of my mind and just keep pushing.”

Offset also fondly remembered TakeOff’s character and what made him so uplifting. “Take had that… he just had good character. He just was like, ‘I make music with people that love my music and I love everybody.’ He’s a loving person, man,” Offset told Zane Lowe. “It was just a tragedy my boy had to go like that, man. But I’m pushing for him too. Legacy, the group thing can’t be a group because our main member is missing.”

“Set It Off” is available now for streaming.
