Renowned artist Marcel Baillifard, known for his dynamic performances and captivating music, is set to unveil his latest album, “L’Album des Copains.” This exciting release comes on the heels of Marcel’s remarkable journey, marked by numerous live performances in 2023.

Featuring five new tracks, “L’Album des Copains” delves into Marcel’s personal experiences, friendships, and his profound connection to the Valais region, which has become his cherished second home. The album paints a vivid musical portrait, with songs like “Romain et Tintin,” honoring Marcel’s dear friends Romain Bourgeois and Christian Constantin, and “Le Vin des Copains,” celebrating the wines of the Branson vineyard, including the award-winning Gamay Vieilles Vignes.

Marcel’s eclectic musical journey also takes listeners on a voyage to Mexico with “Chiquita,” explores the bonds of friendship in “Le Blues des Copains,” and delves into philosophical reflections in “Le Boulevard des Allongés.”

The five tracks on “L’Album des Copains” were expertly produced and arranged by Jimi Drouillard, a seasoned guitarist who has performed with legendary artists such as Quincy Jones, Phil Collins, and Michaël Lecoq, pianist and arranger for icons like Yannick Noah, Christophe Maé, and Véronique Sanson.

Beyond his musical pursuits, Marcel Baillifard brings a unique perspective to his artistry. While enjoying the lightness of life, Marcel also serves as a consultant to international companies in the High Tech sector and holds a Master’s degree from HEC in Paris.
