Lil Uzi Vert Opens Up About Last Album Plans and Desire for a “Normal Life
Lil Uzi Vert recently shared his thoughts on personal challenges and his aspiration for a “perfectly normal life.” The 28-year-old artist took to his Instagram Story earlier this week to vent about the current state of his life, which he feels is rapidly changing.
In his initial post, Uzi posted a text conversation between himself and someone who reminded him that he is not alone and has a support system. He expressed his hope that life is changing for the better. Uzi is determined not to let anyone hinder his journey to happiness or his pursuit of being one of the greatest musicians ever. He also hinted at his last album, suggesting it will serve as a reminder of his impact on the music world.
“The most attention I can get is by dropping music… I understand that you may not believe me, but I am committed to proving that I am serious about this. I am under a lot of stress, and I am tired of so many voices controlling my life. It’s as if I’ve never lived for myself. I would give up all the money and perks that come with this lifestyle to live a perfectly normal life, and I’m okay with it,” Uzi shared.
Uzi continued to candidly express his struggles, acknowledging that he never sought out the negativity that often surrounds him. He also revealed that his relationships with family and his significant other could be better.
“But don’t get me wrong; I have many supporters who love me and appreciate what I do. I’ve changed many lives, and each one of you has changed my life. I can never thank my fans enough for the blessings you’ve given me. Lately, I’ve been distant from everyone, even when they are right next to me,” he confessed.
Earlier this week, Lil Uzi Vert announced that his next album, “Luv Is Rage 3,” would be his final project. He mentioned that there might be one more tour before he transitions to what he calls a “normal life.”
“I recently reached this decision. I was planning to wait a bit before sharing it, but I’m dropping ‘Luv Is Rage 3,’ and it will be my last album. Don’t worry; it’s okay. After ‘Luv Is Rage 3,’ I might go on one more tour… But after that, I want to experience what it’s like to live a normal life,” Uzi revealed to the crowd.
Lil Uzi Vert’s heartfelt words shed light on his inner struggles and his longing for a more ordinary existence after an illustrious career in the music industry.
