Kanye West continues to make headlines with his ongoing saga involving Adidas, this time by leaking an alleged internal document from the sportswear giant.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Ye in a now-deleted post, shared what he claimed to be a document from Adidas instructing employees on how to communicate with buyers regarding the Yeezy line. Dated February 26, the document asserted Adidas as the sole owner of Yeezy products, including design rights for existing and previous colorways initiated in 2022. It also addressed the release of products prior to formal announcements with former partners.

Furthermore, Adidas directed its employees to avoid ongoing discussions about the Yeezy line and urged them to redirect customer inquiries to a designated email address. Kanye used his caption to highlight the broader issue of human rights, linking it to his experiences with Adidas and even mentioning his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

“This is the document that they give employees at Adidas when asked questions about Yeezy,” Kanye wrote. “It all comes down to human rights which you sacrifice when you’re stigmatized with mental issues. All these situations are actually far crazier than what I’ve been branded to be.”

Earlier in the week, Adidas announced plans to sell off the remaining Yeezy inventory following their separation from Kanye in 2022. Kanye responded by criticizing the sale of what he deemed “fake” pairs of his sneakers.

“Anybody who loves Ye would not buy these fake Yeezys. I never made these colorways, I’m not getting paid off of them, and Adidas is suing me,” Kanye stated. He also expressed disdain for the new, unauthorized 350 designs, labeling them as “corny.”

Kanye’s actions underscore ongoing tensions between him and Adidas, as well as broader concerns about creative ownership, contractual obligations, and the intersection of personal and professional relationships in the fashion industry.
