Emerging Afrofusion artist JONASKAY announces the release of his new single “Nouveau Départ,” a deeply personal track that beautifully blends afrobeat and R&B influences. The song is the focus track from his highly anticipated debut EP “PHENIX,” set to drop on April 18, 2025.

Born in Congo and raised in Angola, JONASKAY brings a unique multicultural perspective to his music, effortlessly flowing between Portuguese, Lingala, and French. “Nouveau Départ” (New Beginning) draws from his formative years in the streets of Luanda, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into the experiences that shaped his artistic journey.

Since arriving in France in 2016, JONASKAY has developed a distinctive sound that showcases the vibrant spectrum of Urban Afrobeat. His extraordinary personality combines playful fantasy with profound introspection, creating music that simultaneously moves the body and touches the soul.
