Halle Bailey and DDG have formally introduced their son to the world during a stunning vacation on the Italian coast. On Saturday, July 3, the couple shared the first photos of baby Halo’s face on Instagram, featuring the six-month-old in a series of glamorous vacation shots.

In the photos, the Little Mermaid star dazzles in a glamorous bejeweled gown, while the “Moonwalking In Calabasas” rapper complements her in a matching shirt. The family is pictured standing on a dock overlooking the deep blue ocean, with the proud parents smiling and holding their baby boy.

This Instagram post marks the first proper glimpse fans have had of Halo’s face since Halle and DDG welcomed their first child together late last year. Halle announced his birth in early January, sharing a photo of his tiny hand on Instagram and captioning it, “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son.”

In May, Halle shared a heartfelt video compilation for her first Mother’s Day, featuring clips of her son’s birth and her early days of motherhood. The reel includes moments of Halle holding her newborn in a hospital bed and DDG cradling the tiny baby boy.

Halle has also been open about the challenges of motherhood. In April, she candidly discussed experiencing “severe” postpartum depression in a Snapchat video, revealing the difficulty of being separated from her baby for more than 30 minutes. “When I look at him, I cry because of how special he is,” she shared. “The only thing that’s been hard for me is feeling normal in my own body. I feel like a completely different person. When I look in the mirror, I just feel like I’m in a whole new body. Like, I don’t know who I am.”

The couple’s recent vacation photos not only capture their joy but also highlight the deep bond they share as a family.
