Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has unveiled a new signature guitar and a matching Marshall amplifier, expanding his long-running partnerships with Gibson and Marshall. The releases were introduced during the band’s 2026 touring schedule and are designed to recreate the punchy, high-gain sound that has defined Armstrong’s guitar tone throughout Green Day’s career.

The new signature guitar is based on Armstrong’s iconic Les Paul Junior, featuring a single P-90 pickup, a streamlined control layout and a vintage-inspired finish that reflects the instrument he has used on countless recordings and live performances. Gibson said the model is built to capture the simplicity and aggressive tone that have become synonymous with the guitarist’s playing style.

Marshall also introduced a Billie Joe Armstrong signature amplifier, developed in collaboration with the Green Day frontman to deliver the raw sound heard on albums such as Dookie, American Idiot and Saviors. The amplifier combines classic Marshall circuitry with custom voicing and artist-approved settings tailored to Armstrong’s performance preferences.

Armstrong celebrated the launch by demonstrating the new gear during promotional appearances and sharing details about the design process, explaining that both products were created to reflect the equipment he relies on both in the studio and on stage. The signature models are aimed at players seeking the straightforward setup and high-energy sound that have characterized Green Day’s music for more than three decades.

The releases coincide with Green Day’s continued live performances following the band’s global touring cycle in support of Saviors. The signature guitar and Marshall amplifier are now available through select authorized retailers and are expected to reach additional international markets in the coming weeks.
