Kacey Musgraves Cancels Three ‘Middle of Nowhere’ Tour Dates

Kacey Musgraves has canceled three dates on her upcoming Middle of Nowhere Tour, including what was scheduled to be the opening night of the North American run. The affected concerts are August 20 at the United Center in Chicago, August 29 at TD Garden in Boston, and September 2 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Fans were notified of the cancellations through emails sent by Ticketmaster, but no official explanation has been provided by Musgraves or her representatives.

According to the cancellation notices, ticket holders for the affected performances will automatically receive refunds through their original method of payment. While those three concerts have been removed from the schedule, other performances in Chicago, Boston and the New York area remain on the itinerary, allowing fans in those markets to attend alternate dates.

The Middle of Nowhere Tour is scheduled to support Musgraves’ sixth studio album of the same name, which was released in May 2026. The arena tour is still expected to visit major cities across the United States and Canada, including Toronto, Nashville, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Seattle, before continuing with international dates in 2027.

As of now, Musgraves has not addressed the canceled shows on her social media channels or announced any plans to reschedule them. No additional tour dates have been canceled, and the remainder of the Middle of Nowhere Tour remains on schedule.
