French Montana Drops New Single “To the Moon” and Teases Upcoming Tour With Fabolous and Fivio Foreign
French Montana has released his latest single, “To the Moon,” featuring fellow New York rappers Fabolous and Fivio Foreign. The track, which samples Cutty Ranks’ “The Stopper (Main Attraction Remix)”—a sample also famously used by Drake in his 2015 song “Energy”—brings a fresh energy to the New York rap scene.
The official music video for “To the Moon” showcases a vibrant block party atmosphere, complete with motorbikers tearing up the streets as French, Fab, and Fivio deliver their verses near a graffitied building. The video can be watched below.
“To the Moon” also doubles as a promotional piece for the trio’s upcoming tour, Gotta See It to Believe It. The tour’s first leg, named after the new single, kicks off on August 1, 2024, in Wallingford, Connecticut, and wraps up on August 25, 2024, in Philadelphia. The tour will cover several East Coast and Midwest cities, with tickets currently available and select dates offering ticket upgrades.

French Montana’s latest project, the mixtape Mac & Cheese 5, further solidifies his place in the rap industry. Speaking to Rolling Stone in February, Montana highlighted his enduring influence in New York’s music scene over his 20-year career. “I feel like I’m the bridge,” he said. “Between the OGs like Puff, Jay-Z, Nas, and all of them down to the DThangs and the Fivios, to Ice Spices and whoever in the city coming up. I feel like I’m right in the middle. I could jump here. I could jump there.”
