This lively gathering marked a celebration in honor of the Fortnite Festival, officially launched on December 9. The festival introduces a groundbreaking multi-platform music game, allowing players to form bands with friends or take the solo stage to perform chart-topping hits by their favorite artists.
The Weeknd, featured prominently in the game’s trailer, held the prestigious position as the inaugural headline act. The celebration reached its crescendo with the flash mob’s spirited performance of The Weeknd’s 2020 megahit “Blinding Lights,” captivating an audience of nearly 15,000. Fortnite, renowned for its innovative integration of music, has previously hosted in-game concerts featuring acclaimed artists like Travis Scott and Eminem.
