First Week Sales Projections for Rod Wave’s ‘Nostalgia’ Revealed
Rod Wave is poised for another remarkable opening week as his latest album, “Nostalgia,” is projected to claim the No. 1 spot, as reported by HITS Daily Double.
On Saturday, the outlet unveiled its projections, suggesting that Rod Wave’s “Nostalgia” is likely to debut at the top, with estimated sales ranging between 130,000 to 140,000 copies in its first week. If these projections hold true, it would mark the third-largest rap debut of 2023 for “Nostalgia.” Furthermore, this album would also represent the most significant sales debut of Rod Wave’s career, surpassing his 2021 release, “Soulfly,” which sold 130,000 copies in its opening week. Rod Wave has already achieved two No. 1 albums with “Soulfly” and “A Beautiful Mind” in 2022.
Rod Wave’s ‘Nostalgia’ is pacing for a #1 debut on the Billboard 200 (chart dated September 30, 2023) with 130-140K units, with Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘GUTS’ at #2 with around 100K units. (via @HITSDD) pic.twitter.com/vvK8SYhPIS
