Drake has been keeping his fans on the edge of their seats with hints and updates about his highly anticipated eighth studio album, titled ‘For All the Dogs’. Following his promotion of the poetry book ‘Titles Ruin Everything, A Stream of Consciousness’ alongside Kenza Samir and Aubrey Graham in June, Drake has been dropping breadcrumbs about his upcoming musical project during his ongoing It’s All a Blur Tour.

During his performance at Chicago’s United Center on July 5, the excitement surrounding ‘For All the Dogs’ reached a peak when Drake reminded the crowd about his forthcoming album. This announcement comes after his collaborative album with 21 Savage, ‘Her Loss’, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in November 2022.

All 16 tracks from ‘Her Loss’ secured spots in the top 40 of the chart, with hits like “Rich Flex” landing at No. 2 and “On BS” grabbing the No. 4 position. Considering the success of ‘Her Loss’, expectations are high for the upcoming album.

While fans initially speculated that ‘For All the Dogs’ would drop on August 4 due to other rappers shifting their release dates, Drake debunked the rumor. However, during his performance in Chicago on July 5, he did pause to let the audience in on the exciting news.

“Album’s going good,” Drake revealed during his set. “I’m almost there, about to drop that off to y’all real quick. In case you don’t know, by the way, I’m coming out with a new album. It’s called ‘For All the Dogs’.”

Not stopping at that, Drake also thrilled fans by revealing that Nicki Minaj will make a guest appearance on one of the tracks on ‘For All the Dogs’. During his performance in Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena on July 8, he shared the news.

“I’m gonna give away one thing for you tonight because I got a lot of love for Detroit,” Drake announced. “So I’m gonna have to tell you that me and Nicki Minaj did our first song together in, like, a really long time. I got a lot of love for her.”

Drake wrapped up his tour with a bang at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 25. During the final show, he excitedly told the audience that ‘For All the Dogs’ would be arriving in about two weeks.

“I will be back soon,” Drake stated while celebrating with the crowd. “I have an album dropping for you in, like, two weeks or some s**t. But until then, just know you’re always with me, and I’m always thinking of you. Everything I do is for you. Every time I step in that booth, I hope I make you proud.”
