Drake Raps Over Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” Diss Beat on Sexyy Red Collab “U My Everything”
Sexyy Red has dropped an unexpected surprise with her latest project, In Sexyy We Trust. The album features a collaboration with Drake titled “U My Everything,” unveiled just Thursday evening. The track sees the duo rapping over Metro Boomin’s viral “BBL Drizzy” diss beat.
Drake addresses the controversial beat directly with the line, “BBL Drizzy, they want a new body, they ask me for it.” This marks Drake’s first musical appearance since his high-profile beef with Kendrick Lamar, where K.Dot rapped on “Euphoria,” “When I see you stand by Sexyy Red, I believe you see two bad bitches/I believe you don’t like women, it’s real competition, you might pop ass with ’em.”
The 2024 rap feud ignited with the release of Metro and Future’s We Don’t Trust You album, featuring Kendrick Lamar. Rick Ross fueled the fire with his diss track “Champagne Moments,” emblazoned with the hashtag #BBLDrizzy on the cover, alleging Drake had undergone the titular procedure.
Check out a preview of “U My Everything” below, and stay tuned for the imminent release of In Sexyy We Trust. The project, a follow-up to her 2023 release Hood Hottest Princess, features hits like “Pound Town 2” and “SkeeYee” produced by Tay Keith.
In Sexyy We Trust consists of 14 tracks with features from Lil Baby (“Lick Me”), Mike Will Made-It (“Outside”), and VonOff1700 (“Sexyy Love Money”). Tay Keith serves as the executive producer.
You can stream In Sexyy We Trust on Apple Music, Spotify, and other platforms. The St. Louis-born star recently performed at Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores, Alabama, sharing the stage with Zach Bryan, Megan Moroney, Reneé Rapp, All Time Low, Odesza, Lana Del Rey, and more. Notably, Sexyy Red and Lana Del Rey generated buzz after being seen enjoying each other’s company, sparking calls for a future collaboration.
