Double Triangle Releases “Moody” A Nostalgic Synthwave Journey
Multifaceted artist Double Triangle mesmerises listeners with his latest single “Moody,” a space disco-inspired synth-wave track that seamlessly blends nostalgia with modern twists. This release marks another milestone in the eclectic career of a creator whose journey is as fascinating as his music.
Double Triangle brings a unique perspective to his craft. Growing up in Harlow, Essex, a sister New Town to Basildon, he was heavily influenced by electronic music pioneers Vince Clarke and Depeche Mode. His early passion for music saw him join the Erasure fan club and even appear in two of their music videos, “Love To Hate You” and “Fingers and Thumbs.”
Despite facing early setbacks, including being let go by his piano teacher for his penchant for dark chords and contemporary music, Double Triangle’s passion persevered. His teenage years were marked by experimentation with synthesizers and drum machines, often creating impromptu crowds in his school’s music block.
“Moody” is the culmination of this rich tapestry of experiences. The track showcases Double Triangle’s knack for creating melody-led instrumental music that’s perfect for working, studying, and escaping. It’s a testament to his determination to pursue music, driven by the realization that life is too short not to follow one’s passion.
Listeners can expect a sonic journey that pays homage to the synthwave genre while infusing it with modern production techniques.
“Moody” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
