Pittsburgh-based singer-songwriter Cathleen Ireland has made a significant impact on the pop music scene with the release of her debut solo EP, “LOVE YA SELF.” The eight-track EP, which dropped on all major streaming platforms, showcases Ireland’s adult contemporary sound, offering listeners 24 minutes of easy listening and catchy highway tunes.

The EP’s standout track, “Golden Sienna,” has already garnered international recognition. Co-written with renowned Pittsburgh producer Ryan M. Tedder, known for his collaborations with artists like Wiz Khalifa, Jennifer Lopez, and Ariana Grande, the song won Best Song International at the 2024 Parai Musical International Awards (PMIA) and reached the semi-finals in the UK Songwriting Contest’s adult contemporary category.

“Golden Sienna” draws inspiration from a family trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and reflects on Ireland’s son’s transition into adulthood. The upbeat reggaeton track captures the essence of a beachside drive while exploring themes of growing up and gaining independence.
