YG Calls Out Unnamed Opps in New Single “Weird,” Announces July Release Date for Upcoming Project
YG has dropped a new track titled “Weird,” taking aim at his opps who, according to him, are acting strange. You can check out the official music video below, featuring the rapper and his crew atop a parking garage and working out on a weight bench.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, YG explained that the track is “4 tha suckaz who know they opps but keep my name in they mouf like we bool.” He added, “Fuck outta here pussy.” In “Weird,” the Compton-bred artist makes it clear he’s not associating with anyone he deems a “weirdo” and warns his opps to stop mentioning his name when there’s beef.

In the second verse, YG calls out those who talk about business they don’t understand, asserting that his crew is ready for anyone looking to disrespect them.
“Weird” is expected to be featured on YG’s upcoming project, Just Re’d Up 3, which he revealed is set to drop in July, according to an Instagram post promoting the new single. In April, the 34-year-old released “Knocka” alongside an accompanying music video directed by Austin Simkins, aka Salty, which might also appear on Just Re’d Up 3.
In addition to the new project, YG will be hitting the road this summer with Doe Boy and DJ Vision for the Just Re’d Up Tour. The tour kicks off on June 28 in his hometown of Los Angeles, California, and will make stops in Portland, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, New York, Dallas, and more before wrapping up in Hawaii on August 17
