Pink Friday 2 achieved this milestone with an impressive 228,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. for the week ending Dec. 14, according to Billboard. This accomplishment adds to Minaj’s previous chart-topping successes with Roman Reloaded in 2012 and Pink Friday in 2011.
Nicki Minaj now stands as the undisputed leader among female rappers with the most No. 1 albums, breaking the tie she previously held with Foxy Brown. The victory surpasses Foxy Brown’s 1997 collaborative album with The Firm and her 1999 solo effort Chyna Doll, firmly establishing Nicki Minaj as a trailblazer in the realm of chart-topping achievements.
