Metro Boomin and Future Tease Fans with Two Upcoming Projects in New Album Trailer

Excitement is brewing as Metro Boomin and Future drop a bombshell announcement in a brand new trailer featuring the voice of the late Prodigy of Mobb Deep.

The trailer, shared by Metro on Friday across his social media platforms, sets the stage with both artists cruising in luxurious cars through a deserted landscape. As the vehicles come to a halt, Metro and Future emerge, standing side-by-side in a powerful display.

Accompanying the visuals is an old audio clip of the late Prodigy, delivering a potent message about the art of rap and urging those without the skill to step aside. The trailer climaxes with the reveal of the album’s title, We Don’t Trust You, along with two significant dates: “3 22 24” and “4 12 24.”

According to an official press release, We Don’t Trust You is set to drop on March 22, followed by a second album release on April 12. This revelation follows Metro’s Heroes & Villains and Future’s I Never Liked You, both released in 2022.

Described as “two LPs’ worth of Metro’s sinister cinematic soundscapes and Future’s irresistible demon musicality,” these projects promise to be a culmination of rap’s most fruitful partnership.

Future’s penchant for consecutive album releases is well-documented, dating back to 2017 when he unleashed Future followed by the R&B-infused HNDRXX a mere week later. Both albums soared to the top of the Billboard 200 chart, solidifying Future’s status as the first artist to achieve back-to-back chart-toppers in consecutive weeks.

While fans eagerly anticipate this forthcoming musical onslaught, it’s worth noting that this is the longest Future has gone without dropping a new project, adding even more anticipation to the impending releases.
