Megan Thee Stallion & Reneé Rapp Unveil “Not My Fault” from the “Mean Girls” Remake Soundtrack

Pop sensation Reneé Rapp and rap icon Megan Thee Stallion have teamed up to drop “Not My Fault,” a highly anticipated collaboration featured on the upcoming Mean Girls remake soundtrack. The track samples a memorable line from the original 2004 film and showcases the duo’s “hot girl” vibe in this polished dance anthem.
Rapp kicks off the song with a confident declaration, singing, “It’s not my fault, you came with her, but she might leave with me.” As the tension rises, Megan jumps in to flaunt her achievements, delivering lines like, “Funny how the mean girl opens all the doors, I been told y’all, I’m the Black Regina George.”

The collaboration was teased earlier in the week when Megan announced the upcoming release on Rapp’s Instagram account. The cover art, featuring both artists surrounded by plastic mannequins, was shared by Rapp with a playful caption: “meg told me to put my a– out so I put my a– out.”
Rapp, who plays the role of Regina George in the Mean Girls reboot, reprises her character from the Broadway musical that partially inspired the film. The Mean Girls remake is set to hit theaters on Jan. 12.
