Keith Hines Debuts with Inspiring Single “Pick Your Self Up”

Keith Hines Production proudly announces the release of “Pick Your Self Up,” a debut single that marks the culmination of a unique artistic journey from poetry to songwriting. Born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Keith Hines brings authentic Caribbean influences to his music while delivering universal messages of perseverance and hope.
The single, co-written with Joseph Williams, evolved from Hines’s extensive background in poetry, which began in the mid-nineties. Williams, who composed the music and contributed to the lyrics, played an instrumental role in guiding Hines through the production process, helping transform his poetic verses into compelling musical narratives.
“Pick Your Self Up” represents the first in a series of collaborative works from Keith Hines Production, followed by “Walk Away” and “I Was Hurting Inside” – the latter created in partnership with French composer Eric Albertini. This international collaboration showcases Hines’s ability to bridge cultural gaps through music.
The release of “Pick Your Self Up” marks an exciting new chapter for the Montego Bay native, who has successfully transitioned from writing poetry at Chetwood Primary and Montego Bay Secondary to producing music for a global audience. Fans can look forward to the upcoming release of “Caroline,” another collaboration with Eric Albertini, which promises to showcase Hines’s versatility as a songwriter.
