Island Boys Member Franky Venegas Arrested in Florida for Reckless Driving, Other Offenses
The Island Boys, the hip-hop duo and TikTok sensations are once again making headlines for legal troubles. Franky Venegas, known as Kodiyakredd, was arrested in Fort Lauderdale on Friday night (May 24) on multiple driving-related charges. This arrest comes a year after his previous run-in with the law for domestic battery in Florida.
According to TMZ, the 22-year-old Venegas was taken into custody and booked at Broward County Jail. He faces three charges: operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, possessing a false ID which he presented to a law official, and reckless driving.

Venegas’ twin brother and fellow Island Boys member, Flyysoulja (legal name Alex Venegas), showed his support on TikTok, posting, “Free him. Flyysoulja x Kodiyakredd real brother got you.”
Last May, Franky Venegas was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend when she threatened to break up with him. The incident reportedly took place at a Pompano Beach Airbnb, where the woman claimed she was slapped and thrown into the shallow end of a pool. She was treated at a hospital for injuries to her chin, legs, and arms. Venegas later posted on Instagram, stating that the incident was “not what it seems,” and the charges were eventually dismissed.
As the Island Boys continue to navigate their newfound fame, these legal issues highlight the challenges they face off-screen.
