Growing up in the sister New Town to Basildon, Harlow in Essex, Double Triangle was deeply influenced by the sounds of Vince Clarke and Depeche Mode. His immersion in the Erasure fan club as a child, coupled with appearances in two of their music videos, fueled his passion for music from an early age.

Double Triangle’s musical journey was further enriched by his grandfather, a plumber to the stars, who exposed him to a diverse range of genres and artists, including Tomita, Gary Numan, and Debussy. This eclectic upbringing solidified Double Triangle’s love for music and laid the foundation for his future endeavors.

Despite facing challenges, such as being dismissed by his piano teacher for his affinity for dark chords, Double Triangle’s determination and talent shone through. He excelled in music production from a young age, honing his skills on a 4-track, drum machine, and synth.

His professional journey took him from Ninja Tune and Hydrogen Dukebox to the BBC, where he made significant contributions to graphic design. Along the way, he encountered Spanish police due to early drone usage and resided in the iconic Trellick Tower in London.

Currently employed at a major ad agency, Double Triangle’s work has made waves in the UK’s NHS Covid response and has even been presented by Boris Johnson to the nation. However, his passion for music remains unwavering, leading him to explore space disco-inspired synth wave with a modern twist.
