Hailing from the volatile community of Raymonds, a small district in Clarendon, Jamaica, Inpha’s journey is one marked by resilience and determination. Losing his father at age 11 forced him to grow up quickly, facing immense hardship that fueled his passion for music. The second of three children from his father and the first of three from his mother, Inpha discovered his love for music at the age of fifteen, using it as a means of expression during challenging times.
By eighteen, Inpha took on the role of breadwinner for his family, pouring his experiences into tracks like “Weh Dem Deh” and “Seven Days a Week.” His music embodies a mix of reality and relativity, echoing the struggles and triumphs that many face, making his message both relevant and impactful for today’s generation.
