Award-winning and Grammy-nominated Nigerian sensation 1da Banton has released his latest bundle “Digest,” featuring two new tracks: the eponymous “Digest” and “Paid in Full.” This release follows the success of his recent collaboration with Bella Shmurda and maintains a similar creative concept.

“Digest” embodies the irresistible spirit of summer, with 1da Banton bringing his signature energy to two bouncy tracks while exploring themes of temptation. The release is accompanied by a vibrant music video for the title track “Digest,” filmed with a vintage aesthetic. The video employs split-screen techniques and close-up angles to depict separations and evoke a sense of desperation, inviting viewers into 1da Banton’s intimate and romantic world.

Born in Nigeria, 1da Banton’s musical style is a unique blend of reggae, dancehall, afrobeat, and traditional sounds inspired by his hometown of Port Harcourt, a known hub for talents like Burna Boy and Omah Lay. His 2021 breakout hit “No Wahala” has amassed nearly 200 million streams on Spotify alone, charted in 26 countries on Apple Music’s Top 100, and peaked at #2 on the Shazam Global Chart.

Known as the Nigerian “Wonderboy” (a nickname from his football days), 1da Banton has received numerous accolades, including Artist of the Year at the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards. He also earned a prestigious Grammy nomination in 2023 as a producer/songwriter for his work on Davido’s “Timeless” album.
