Alternative rock band EVA is thrilled to announce the release of their latest single, “Mercedés.” This track marks the first release from their highly anticipated new album, “Corrente.”

Active since 2013, EVA has captured audiences with their unique sound. They first made waves with their EP “Fly Back Home” in 2014 and continued to impress with their LP “Far Enough” in 2016. Now, with “Mercedés,” they take a playful yet critical look at modern society.

“Mercedés” is an ironic and mocking song that lightly explores the contradictions of a society obsessed with comfort and stability. It highlights how people often avoid effort, seeking a false sense of adventure and fulfillment by purchasing luxury items like sports cars.

The track features a chorus with a “four on the floor” beat reminiscent of disco music. The guitars create atmosphere in the verses and add rhythmic movement in the chorus, while the keyboards provide retro sounds that evoke the 90s.
