Drake has added another piece of hip-hop history to his jewelry collection, showing off a new platinum Cash Money Records chain during a recent Kick livestream. The Toronto rapper displayed the chain while gambling online with streamer and comedian BenDaDonn and referenced Cash Money co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams while discussing the piece.

During the livestream, Drake called attention to the chain and identified it as a platinum Cash Money piece connected to Birdman. He then addressed viewers who might be interested in acquiring similar items, saying the group’s artifacts remain within the family.

The moment also continued Drake’s long-running interest in collecting significant pieces of hip-hop jewelry. Over the years, the rapper has acquired jewelry associated with other major figures in the genre, including pieces previously owned by Pharrell Williams and Tupac Shakur.

Drake purchased several pieces from Pharrell’s jewelry collection when they went to auction in 2022, reportedly spending nearly $3 million. He later showcased some of the jewelry in the music video for “Jumbotron Shit Poppin,” before referencing the collection in his verse on Travis Scott’s “Meltdown.”

The Cash Money chain also comes as some of Drake’s own archival jewelry has recently entered the collectibles market. Eric Wind of Wind Vintage previously presented a collection containing custom pieces worn by Drake, including jewelry associated with the cover of his 2011 album Take Care. A Rolex GMT-Master II worn by Drake for the album’s cover was also reportedly offered for sale earlier this year.

Drake’s comments about artifacts come shortly after renewed attention around the jewelry he previously acquired from Pharrell. Pharrell has described the pieces as part of music history and previously said Drake’s interest in them reflected his appreciation for the history of hip-hop.

The livestream also brought an update on Drake’s music. During the same broadcast, he told viewers that a number of songs featured in his FOMO short film and livestream would be arriving on streaming services Thursday, Oct. 1. He indicated that not every song fans have requested would be released, but that a selection would become available.

Songs connected to the FOMO rollout include “Québec,” “Cold Shoulder” and a “Choosin’ Texas” remix featuring Don Toliver. Drake has also released individual visuals connected to the project, including “Outside Tweaking” with Stunna Sandy and “Cheetah Print” with Sexyy Red.

The latest jewelry appearance therefore arrives alongside another stage of Drake’s 2026 music rollout, with the rapper continuing to showcase pieces from his collection while preparing additional FOMO material for streaming.
