Diddy’s Attorney Clarifies Cassie’s Settlement: No Admission of Guilt
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer, Ben Brafman, has released a statement to clarify that Cassie’s settlement is not an admission of guilt on Diddy’s part.
In response to the recent settlement in Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy, attorney Ben Brafman issued a statement on Saturday (Nov. 18) to dispel any misconceptions. He emphasized that settling a lawsuit, especially in 2023, does not equate to an acknowledgment of wrongdoing.
“Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” stated Brafman in the released statement. “Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
