Cardi B responds to allegations of Her imitating Nicki Minaj’s flow from Trollz” in her latest track with Offset, “Freaky.”
On Friday (Oct. 13), the outspoken rapper addressed these claims and provided evidence on X (formerly Twitter) to clear her name.
Cardi responded to a post that pointed out the flow in question, highlighting that it’s a fundamental rap style she previously used on the 2019 Fat Joe, Dre, and Anuel AA collaboration, “Yes.”
Not stopping there, Cardi B shared more of her thoughts in the comment section of a blog post discussing the accusations.
“I’ve genuinely been keeping to myself,” Cardi B expressed. “You all seem to enjoy associating my name with nonsense, trying to make it trend, and inundating Twitter with tweets. But then when I respond, I’m suddenly the problem. Yes, I’ll always defend my name. If you have an issue with it, just leave me alone. AHHHH HAAAA.”
