Ari Lennox Halts Show and Issues Warning After Fan Throws Water Bottle Onstage

Ari Lennox, the soulful voice behind hits like “Pressure,” is the latest artist to face the alarming trend of objects being thrown at performers during concerts. The incident occurred during her opening performance for Rod Wave’s Nostalgia tour at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (Nov. 29), when a water bottle was hurled onstage, striking Lennox in the arm.

In a video shared by TMZ, the songstress promptly halts the show and addresses the crowd, demanding to know the identity of the individual responsible. “I’ll f— you up,” she declares passionately. “Who did it? Who the f— did it? I don’t play that s—. I’m a real a– b—- and I will f— your s— all the way the f— up.” Lennox emphasizes, “Don’t you ever disrespect a beautiful Black woman on the f—ing stage like that. I’m going to f— you up.”

Before the situation escalates further, Ari’s security guard intervenes and escorts her off the stage to ensure her safety.

This unfortunate incident adds to a string of similar disruptions at live performances, with artists like Bebe Rexha, Lil Nas X, and Kelsea Ballerini experiencing objects thrown onstage. Ava Max encountered a fan rushing the stage, P!nk had someone throw their mother’s ashes onto the stage, and Taylor Swift addressed the issue during her Eras Tour.

The unsettling trend raises concerns not only for the artists’ safety but also for the safety of those involved in the production.
