21 Savage Delivers a Stunning Performances of “Redrum,” “Should’ve Wore a Bonnet,” and “Prove It” on SNL
21 Savage made a memorable appearance on NBC’s Saturday Night Live (SNL) on Saturday (Feb. 24), treating viewers to an entertaining performance of his hits “Redrum,” “Should’ve Wore a Bonnet,” and “Prove It.”
In his first set, the Atlanta-born rapper took center stage accompanied by two ballet dancers, a violinist, and two opera singers, delivering a subdued rendition of “Redrum” from his latest project, American Dream.
For his second set, 21 Savage joined forces with R&B singer Brent Faiyaz for a smooth performance of “Should’ve Wore a Bonnet,” followed by a rendition of “Prove It” with R&B songstress Summer Walker. Dressed in an all-black leather ensemble and sporting dark sunglasses, the Saint Laurent Don effortlessly delivered his street-infused verses, captivating the audience with his stage presence.
These performances showcased 21 Savage’s versatility and prowess as a live performer, further solidifying his status as one of hip-hop’s most compelling artists.
21 Savage’s appearance on SNL was announced earlier in the week, with the rapper appearing in a promotional trailer alongside SNL cast members Kenan Thompson and host Shane Gillis. This marked 21 Savage’s second appearance on the show, following his performance of “No BS” alongside Drake in 2022 as part of the rollout of their joint album, Her Loss.
