Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Is Now Just TEED & His Gorgeous New Album Is an Apology

English electronic artist TEED — previously known as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs — has unveiled a new chapter with the release of his third studio album, Always With Me, arriving December 5, 2025.

According to TEED, the rebranding from “Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs” to TEED reflects a deliberate shift in his artistic identity — leaving behind the elaborate moniker he once viewed as a form of “armor,” and embracing a more honest, grounded approach to music.

The sonic landscape of Always With Me moves away from club-centric dance anthems toward a more introspective, emotionally rich sound. Built largely using a single synthesizer in a modest studio setup, the album draws on childhood memories and nostalgia. According to TEED, this stripped-back method is a conscious rejection of conformity within contemporary electronic music.

Already released singles such as Desire, The Echo, My Melody, and Piece of Me offered glimpses into the album’s dreamy, melancholic mood — blending ambient synth textures with soft vocals and contemplative lyrics about connection, longing and memory.

TEED and his team have described Always With Me as a deeply personal record: not just a collection of songs, but a creative rebirth, where he confronts vulnerability head-on and seeks to reclaim the joy of songwriting away from industry pressures.
