Schleischitz’s extensive background spans from flugelhorn performance in local brass bands to military band experience, followed by formal organ studies at Vienna’s Diocesan Conservatory and jazz piano training at the Vienna Conservatory under renowned instructors Berthold Föger and Harry Gansberger. His compositional talents have gained recognition beyond the jazz world, including a contribution to the new Gotteslob hymn book.
