Shery M Brings Joy, Movement, and Global Energy to “Bubblin”
International pop artist Shery M returns with “Bubblin,” an upbeat new single that marks a fresh chapter in her English-language journey. The track trades the emotional weight of her previous releases for something lighter, more carefree, and built entirely around movement and celebration.
Written with Tokyo-based songwriter Kanata Okajima and produced by Máté Ádám Mógor, “Bubblin” blends Afro-Moombahton, Dancehall, and global pop into a rhythmic summer record designed to get listeners moving. Heavy bounce, infectious rhythms, and polished production give the track an energetic international feel, while Shery M’s delivery keeps the song playful and confident.
The song’s origins were just as spontaneous as its energy.
“Bubblin” was written at the Artisjus Songbook Camp 2025 in Budapest, where Shery M, Kanata Okajima, and Máté Ádám Mógor met for the first time. There was no predetermined concept, brief, or expectation that they would create a finished single. They simply entered the room and began writing. By the end of the day, the song was finished.
When the camp gathered that evening for its listening session, people immediately got up and danced. Before the track had even been mixed or mastered, it had already revealed exactly what it was meant to be: a song that makes people move.
The collaboration didn’t end there. The chemistry between the three artists eventually led to another writing session in Vienna, where they created “Limitless,” released in May 2026. “Bubblin” therefore represents the beginning of a creative relationship that has already produced multiple releases.
Its Afro-Moombahton foundation gives the record its driving bounce, while Dancehall influences add rhythmic character. The hook, “Bubblin, bubblin, sip it up and work it out,” is deliberately repetitive and instantly memorable, while Spanish touches such as “un poco cha-cha” add another layer to its global pop identity.
The song’s rhythm-first approach allows it to connect across languages and cultures. Its focus is less on translating every word and more on creating an immediate feeling through groove, melody, and repetition.
That sense of freedom is particularly significant within Shery M’s recent artistic journey.
Her previous three English-language singles explored very different stages of personal transformation. “Goin’ Gone,” released in January 2026, reflected on the period before she fled Iran in 2016, while “It’s Possible” explored the quieter aftermath. “Limitless,” released in May, developed those ideas into a statement of possibility and self-belief.
“Bubblin” moves away from those heavier themes.
It is about what happens when you finally allow yourself to enjoy the moment.
For Shery M, that carries particular weight because of where her artistic journey began. During her early career in Iran’s underground music scene, she worked in an environment where women faced severe restrictions around singing and studying opera. Her music videos were also created under the risk of arrest.
Against that background, creating a song centered on dancing, confidence, attraction, and celebration becomes a meaningful expression of freedom.
Shery M has established herself as an internationally recognized pop artist whose music combines global pop, R&B, and modern urban influences. Her career in Persian music has generated more than a billion streams, while her work has consistently explored themes of identity, freedom, transformation, and self-determination.
Her journey between the Middle East and Europe has also shaped the international character of her music. Moving between cultures and languages has allowed her to develop a sound that feels naturally global without losing the personal experiences behind it.
Her transition into English music represents an expansion of that identity rather than a complete reinvention. Through this new chapter, she is bringing the perspective and emotional depth developed throughout her career to a wider audience.
