Billboard’s R&B Hip-Hop Live 2026 took over Brooklyn Steel in New York City on Thursday, Sept. 10, bringing together a lineup spanning R&B, hip-hop and Caribbean music. The concert served as part of Billboard’s R&B Hip-Hop Week and featured Lucky Daye, Yung Miami, kwn, Samara Cyn, Destin Conrad and Skippa.

Skippa opened the show, performing tracks including “WYFL” and material from his #Skippaholic project. The artist was recently named Billboard’s inaugural Caribbean Rising Star.

Samara Cyn followed with a live set that included new material and songs from her current “crashout” era. She closed her performance with “oooshxt!” as the crowd responded to her set.

British R&B singer kwn continued the show with performances of “Do What I Say” and “Worst Behaviour.” Destin Conrad, Billboard’s 2026 R&B Rising Star, also performed songs from his 2026 projects Roadrunner and Whimsy! alongside his Kehlani collaboration “Bad Bitches.”

Yung Miami brought “Spend Dat” to the stage, with the song having reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. Lucky Daye closed the concert with a set centered on his R&B and funk catalog.

The concert followed Billboard’s R&B Hip-Hop Power Players event on Sept. 9, where Samara Cyn, Destin Conrad and Skippa received their respective Rising Star honors. The latest Billboard coverage now features photos from the Brooklyn Steel performances, documenting the artists throughout the night.
