Miley Cyrus Expresses Gratitude to Beyoncé After Grammy Win for ‘II Most Wanted’

Miley Cyrus celebrated her third career Grammy win on Sunday, February 2, at the prestigious awards ceremony. The singer took to Instagram to express her gratitude and share the excitement of the night, posting a series of photos in custom black Alaïa dresses.

“Having your name called is an honour that deserves to be celebrated,” Cyrus wrote in her post. She added, “Just remember for those who don’t, nothing can take away the love and devotion you put into your art. I celebrate the unrecognized artists that created something beautiful and shared it with us.” Miley also took a moment to thank Beyoncé for including her in the iconic Cowboy Carter era, expressing her eternal love: “Thank you @beyonce for inviting me to be a part of your iconic Cowboy Carter era. Love you forever.”

Cyrus’s heartfelt tribute came after her collaboration with Beyoncé on II Most Wanted was awarded Best Country Duo/Group Performance. This win not only marked Cyrus’s third Grammy, but it also added another impressive achievement to Beyoncé’s career, with II Most Wanted contributing to her 33rd Grammy win. Miley’s first two Grammys came the previous year, for Flowers in the categories of Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

In the same category, II Most Wanted was up against several notable tracks, including Cowboys Cry Too by Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan, Break Mine by Brothers Osborne, Bigger Houses by Dan + Shay, and I Had Some Help by Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen.

The night was also monumental for Beyoncé, as she took home the Best Country Album award for Cowboy Carter, which also won Album of the Year. This was Beyoncé’s first time winning in these categories at the Grammys, cementing another milestone in her illustrious career.
