Jennifer Lopez Returns to Vegas With Jazz Hands, Ja Rule & 27 Songs: 5 Best Moments From Opening Night

Jennifer Lopez officially opened her new Las Vegas residency titled Up All Night Live at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 30, 2025, kicking off a string of performances that will continue through early January and resume across March 2026. The show marks her return to the Vegas stage nearly a decade after her previous residency and features a blend of her biggest hits, theatrical elements, and surprise moments, including an appearance by longtime collaborator Ja Rule performing their early-2000s duets.

Opening night was a dynamic spectacle divided into multiple acts with vibrant choreography, a full orchestra, elaborate stage design and a set list spanning classics like “On The Floor,” “Jenny From the Block” and “Waiting for Tonight,” as well as Broadway-style covers and artistic reinterpretations of her catalog.

Fans in attendance saw over two dozen songs across the more than two-hour performance, with Lopez donning several eye-catching costumes and delivering powerful vocal moments, including a mashup closer that blended Barbra Streisand’s “Don’t Rain on My Parade” with her own “Let’s Get Loud.”

Lopez has also been addressing public commentary around her fashion and stage presence, playfully responding to critics during the show and embracing her performance choices onstage.

In addition to the music and performance artistry, Lopez incorporated personal reflections into the production, touching on themes of growth and resilience and even making light-hearted remarks about her past relationships in front of the crowd.

The residency is set not only for the current holiday period through January 2, but it will continue with additional dates throughout March 2026, giving audiences multiple opportunities to experience the newly launched show.

Lopez’s return to Vegas has been described as both nostalgic and forward-looking, showcasing her enduring appeal and expansive performance range on one of the city’s most iconic stages.
