Omar Courtz Scores First Latin Airplay No. 1 With ‘KOKO’: ‘Crazy!’
Omar Courtz has scored his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart with “KOKO,” marking another major milestone for the Puerto Rican artist as the song continues to gain momentum on Latin radio.
On the chart dated Oct. 10, 2026, “KOKO” rises from No. 3 to No. 1, one week after reaching the summit of Latin Rhythm Airplay. The achievement gives Courtz his first chart-topper on both rankings within a two-week period.

“Seeing ‘KOKO’ reach No. 1 again is crazy!” Courtz told Billboard. “And having it be my first No. 1 on Latin Airplay makes it even more special.” He added that the song had been meaningful to him from the beginning and expressed gratitude to listeners who have supported it.
According to Luminate, “KOKO” generated 7.5 million audience impressions in the United States during the tracking week ending Oct. 1, representing a 15% increase from the previous week. The growth helped propel the song to the top of the Latin Airplay chart.
The single was released through Mr. 305 and Rimas Entertainment. Its success also gives Mr. 305, the independent label founded by Pitbull, its first Latin Airplay No. 1 in more than six years. The label’s previous leader was “Me Quedaré Contigo,” Pitbull’s collaboration with Ne-Yo, Lenier and El Micha, which topped the chart in April 2020.
Beyond Latin Airplay, “KOKO” continues to perform strongly across Billboard’s Latin rankings. The song holds No. 1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay for a second consecutive week and remains at its peak position of No. 5 on Hot Latin Rhythm Songs, where it has spent 15 weeks. On Hot Latin Songs, it climbs from No. 6 to No. 4, extending its run in the top 10 to 18 weeks.
“KOKO” appears on Courtz’s album POR SI MAÑANA NO ESTOY, which was released in February 2026. The project debuted at No. 3 on both Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and Top Latin Rhythm Albums charts in March, establishing a strong chart presence for the emerging artist.
The album’s earlier single, “Si Estás Con Alguien,” also achieved success on Latin radio, reaching No. 9 on Latin Rhythm Airplay in May. “KOKO,” however, has become Courtz’s biggest chart performer to date, extending his reach beyond his established audience in Puerto Rico.
The new achievement follows Courtz’s first Billboard No. 1, when “KOKO” reached the top of Latin Rhythm Airplay on the chart dated Oct. 3. At that time, the track generated 6.6 million U.S. audience impressions, an 18% increase over the previous tracking period.
With “KOKO” now leading both Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay, Courtz has secured his first chart-topping records on the two radio rankings. The song’s continued growth has also strengthened the performance of POR SI MAÑANA NO ESTOY and expanded the artist’s presence across Billboard’s Latin music charts.
