Italian composer, singer, and multidisciplinary artist Nico Guzzi delivers one of his most daring and conceptually sharp releases to date. Blending classical composition, rap, and melodic songwriting, the track resists easy classification, instead carving out a space where contrast, irony, and urgency coexist.

“Loser” is part of The Game of Life, a nine-track album that continues Nico Guzzi’s long-standing exploration of genre and form. Known for his artistic and professional versatility, Guzzi’s creative world extends beyond music into writing, technology, and visual storytelling. Over the years, he has released instrumental works and soundtracks such as Instrumental Love and Disasters (2019), as well as rock-oriented projects like Rec in Rum (2019). His more recent releases, including the 2024 albums Disagio identitario post virale and Instrumental Love pt.2., reflect an ongoing desire to move freely between musical languages.
In 2020, Guzzi was selected for the semifinals of the 33rd edition of Sanremorock, a milestone that highlighted his growing recognition within the Italian music scene. His 2025 releases push his artistic vision even further, merging classical textures with electronic production and vocal performances that shift between melody and rap.
With “Loser,” Nico Guzzi offers a track that is provocative, reflective, and sharply attuned to its time. It’s a song that invites listeners not just to listen, but to recognize themselves in the contradictions it exposes.
