Lady Gaga Abruptly Stops Mayhem Ball Show Mid-Performance After Dancer Falls Off Stage in Australia

Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball concert in Sydney, Australia was abruptly halted mid-performance on Saturday night after one of her dancers slipped and fell off the stage during a rain-soaked segment of the show. The incident occurred at Accor Stadium while Gaga and her troupe were performing “Garden of Eden,” a track from her 2025 album Mayhem. The stage had become dangerously slick due to heavy rainfall, and dancer Michael Dameski slid off the end of the platform, prompting an immediate stoppage.

As the fall unfolded, Gaga called for the music to stop, checked on Dameski, and signaled for the show to be paused while crew members tended to him. Audience-captured video showed the singer expressing concern and ensuring her dancer was safe before the performance could resume. The concert was paused for roughly five minutes while performers and crew assessed the conditions and fitted dancers with footwear with better grip to address the slippery surface.
After the brief interruption, Gaga returned to the stage and continued the set, performing subsequent songs including “Rain On Me,” “How Bad Do You Want Me,” and “Always Remember Us This Way.” Social media reactions from concertgoers noted the crowd’s loud applause upon the show’s resumption.
Following the incident, Dameski posted on his Instagram Story confirming that he was uninjured and thanking fans for their concern, stating that he was glad to have finished what marked the final Australian show of the 2025 leg of the Mayhem Ball tour. The tour is scheduled to resume in Tokyo at the end of January 2026.
Heavy rain was a factor throughout the open-air event, contributing to the hazardous stage conditions that led to the dancer’s fall and the temporary stoppage of the show.
