Kyng Dex brings Afrobeats and Afro-fusion into focus on Fine Gyal, a vibrant release that reflects the New York-based artist’s growing musical identity. The track draws from the rhythmic energy of Afrobeats while leaving room for the hip-hop and contemporary pop influences that shape his sound.

Melody and atmosphere sit at the centre of Fine Gyal. Rather than being confined to one genre, the track reflects Kyng Dex’s interest in music that can connect across different audiences and cultural backgrounds. Its Afro-fusion foundation gives the song its rhythmic character, while his broader influences add to its accessible, contemporary feel.

For Kyng Dex, music extends beyond individual releases. The independent artist is also interested in creating spaces where different forms of creativity can meet. His wider vision brings together musicians, dancers, actors, filmmakers and other artists, using music and visual storytelling as a way to build connections and create new opportunities.

That collaborative mindset forms an important part of Kyng Dex’s artistic direction. His work across Afrobeats, Afro-fusion, hip-hop and pop reflects an interest in developing a sound that remains emotionally clear while allowing different influences to coexist. Each release becomes part of that continuing process.

As Kyng Dex continues building independently, Fine Gyal remains a reflection of the sound and collaborative ambition at the heart of his work. Its Afro-fusion foundation gives the release a clear identity while leaving the door open to the broader musical world he is building.
