JENNIE of BLACKPINK to Sink Her Teeth Into Tame Impala’s ‘Dracula’ Remix: Here’s When It Arrives
BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Australian psychedelic music project Tame Impala have confirmed a high-profile collaboration on a remix of the hit song “Dracula,” with the full version scheduled to arrive on Friday, February 6, 2026. The announcement follows a series of teasers and cryptic social media hints from both the Tame Impala camp and Jennie’s independent label, Odd Atelier, that fueled fan speculation over the past week. Kevin Parker, the creative force behind Tame Impala, dropped a teaser clip on February 3 featuring a glimpse of Jennie’s vocals and simply captioned it “Surprise… Friday,” signaling the imminent release.

Fans first caught wind of the collaboration after subtle changes were made to the original “Dracula” music video description on YouTube, where a line once referencing Parker’s name was altered to include Jennie’s instead, sparking widespread discussion across fan communities. Jennie also previously posted snippets of “Dracula” across her Instagram Stories in the days leading up to the confirmation, adding to the buildup.
The forthcoming remix marks another step in Jennie’s expanding solo trajectory outside of BLACKPINK’s group efforts, following her 2025 debut album Ruby and high-profile features such as “ExtraL” with Doechii. “Dracula” originally appeared on Tame Impala’s Deadbeat album, released in late 2025 and became one of the project’s most talked-about tracks, breaking into major charts and receiving heavy airplay.
“Dracula (Remix)” is set to drop on streaming platforms this Friday, with pre-save options already available, and will be Jennie’s first official release of 2026 ahead of BLACKPINK’s own group activities later in the year.
