Ja Rule ‘Heartbroken’ Over UK’s Decision To Bar Him from Upcoming Tour Due To Criminal Record
Ja Rule finds himself grappling with disappointment and frustration after being denied entry into the U.K. just days before the kickoff of his highly anticipated Sunrise Tour.
Expressing his dismay over the situation, the Queens rapper appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored to share his sentiments. “I’m devastated. As you guys say over there, I’m gutted by this whole situation,” Ja Rule lamented. “I put a lot into this tour. It’s my 25-year anniversary of my first album, Venni Vetti Vecci, and so, you know, I wanted to give my fans something special, a really nice thank you for the 25 years of them being with me throughout my career just to support.”
Scheduled to kick off his Sunrise Tour in the U.K. last Friday, Ja Rule found himself facing an unexpected setback as he was denied entry into the country. Taking to Instagram to shed light on the situation, the “Always On Time” rapper highlighted the stringent entry restrictions imposed by the U.K. for individuals with criminal records.
“The U.K. is one of the few European countries that restricts entry to people with criminal records,” he explained. “In general, you will likely be denied entry if you have been convicted of a crime punishable by 23 months or more under British law or served more than 12 months in prison.”
I’m so devastated I can’t believe the UK won’t let me in I’ve spent a half million dollars in production of my own money to put this tour together only to be denied entry DAYS before my shows this is not fair to me or my fans these venues are 85% sold and now I can’t come… 🤬💔

Adding to his disappointment, Ja Rule faced a jibe from his long-standing rival, 50 Cent, who swiftly chimed in on social media after some attributed Ja’s entry denial to 50 Cent’s influence.
However, 50 Cent vehemently denied any involvement in the matter, asserting in a since-removed Instagram update that he “did not have nothing to do with this b!tch not getting in.”
Ja Rule’s emotional response underscores the profound impact of the unforeseen setback on his longstanding career and his fervent desire to connect with fans during this milestone tour.
