Electric Cherry Unveils New Single “Slower” Ahead Of Upcoming Album “Cherry Heart”

Roman rock band Electric Cherry has released their latest single “Slower,” the second preview of their highly anticipated sophomore album “Cherry Heart,” set to release in May 2025.
“Slower,” accompanied by a compelling video clip directed by Gianluca Mastronardi, follows the fall 2024 release of the album’s first single “Anyway you Want” and their rock-inspired cover of Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music,” both of which will be featured on the forthcoming album.
Electric Cherry formed after the members’ individual experiences in Rome’s independent music scene and various cover bands. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2021 during the pandemic, featured the singles “Right or Wrong” and “Fly Away from This.” The band’s career gained momentum in 2022 when they reached the final stage of Sony Music auditions, ranking among the top nine bands and earning recognition in Rolling Stone Italia.
That same year, they performed at the final of Sanremo Rock at the prestigious Teatro Ariston. After completing the recording sessions for “Cherry Heart” with producer Alessandro Forte, the band signed with Vrec in March 2025 for the album’s release.
“Slower” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
