Kim Kardashian Recalls Ye Claiming She ‘Faked’ Her 2016 Robbery: ‘A Knife to My Heart’

In a December 4, 2025 episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian opened up about a deeply painful memory connected to the 2016 robbery she survived in Paris. She revealed that her then-husband, widely assumed to be Kanye West, told people she had “faked” the robbery for a TV show — words she described as “a knife to my heart.”

During the emotional confession, Kim said the disbelief from someone so close — someone who should have known the truth of her trauma — cut deeper than the robbery itself. “Just to think that someone wouldn’t believe you… that was a knife to my heart,” she said.

Nearly a decade after the incident, Kim recently returned to Paris to testify in the trial of the ten people accused of the armed robbery, where masked men tied her up at gunpoint and stole more than US$10 million in jewelry.  Eight of the defendants were ultimately found guilty.

In court and on camera, she confronted not only the perpetrators but also the lingering public doubts about whether the robbery actually happened. She expressed that facing the accused, hearing their accounts and apologies, felt like vindication: “See, guys. It was real,” she said.

As the latest installment of her story plays out in public — through courtroom testimony and her own reflections on the reality of that night — this chapter remains one of the most raw and vulnerable she has shared on screen.
