Italian project Humble releases “Zaffiro,” a progressive R&B single with ambient influences, marking a new step in their 2026 rollout. The track reflects an introspective journey shaped by emotion, resilience, and personal growth.
“Zaffiro,” meaning “Sapphire,” explores the feeling of being submerged in an emotional abyss, from anxiety and pressure to repressed thoughts, and the effort required to rise above it. The song transforms this struggle into a sense of clarity and renewal, using the image of the gemstone as a symbol of strength and transformation.

Musically, the track blends contemporary R&B with atmospheric textures inspired by artists such as Moby and Tom Misch. Pulsing beats, spatial synths, and layered vocals processed with ethereal reverb create a sound that feels both immersive and reflective. The production, developed in a home studio in the Polesine area, balances intimacy with a polished, modern aesthetic.
“Zaffiro” is part of a larger 2026 project in which Humble plans to release one single each month, all in Italian. The project is led by Umberto De Candia (vocals, production, lyrics) and Enrico Zurma (guitar, production), whose collaboration continues to evolve through a sound rooted between Ferrara, Rovigo, and Bologna. With previous releases such as “Madornale errore” and “Catastrofi e Pensieri,” Humble continues to build a narrative focused on emotional depth and authentic songwriting.
