HAIM Calls Upcoming Single Their ‘Favorite Song We’ve Written in the Last Couple of Years’

The track, titled “Everybody’s Trying to Figure Me Out,” is co-produced by Danielle Haim and Rostam Batmanglij, with Justin Vernon also credited as a co-writer and composer alongside the Haim sisters. Danielle Haim shared on Instagram that the song is her favourite she has written in recent years, inspired by her emotional struggles following their tour. She described experiencing a panic attack upon returning home and realising she had lost herself by trying to meet others’ expectations. The song served as a way to reclaim her sense of self and confidence. This new release follows their previous single “Relationships” and both tracks are anticipated to be part of HAIM’s upcoming album, their first new material since contributing “Home” to the Barbie soundtrack.
