Chris Brown Says He Hasn’t Seen His Daughter in 7 Months Amid Custody Battle: ‘I Take Care of All My Kids’
Chris Brown is speaking out about his ongoing custody and child support dispute with Diamond Brown, claiming that he has not seen their 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown, in seven months.
The singer addressed the situation in a series of Instagram Stories on Oct. 5 after Diamond made allegations in recent court filings concerning their daughter and Brown’s conduct toward her and people she has dated.

“Not allowing me to have time with my child so you can run with a false narrative to the court is disgusting,” Brown wrote. He claimed there is currently no 50/50 co-parenting arrangement and said he pays for expenses including Diamond’s cars, their home, schooling, medical costs and $10,000 a month.
Brown also wrote that he has not seen Lovely in seven months and said his primary concern was maintaining a relationship with his daughter. He questioned what Lovely is being told about him when she asks about her father.
The custody dispute began earlier this year when Diamond sought legal and physical custody of Lovely in a Los Angeles court. She proposed that Brown receive visitation, while Brown subsequently requested joint legal and physical custody of their daughter.
Diamond has disputed Brown’s account of the situation. According to reports on the case, she has claimed that Brown has not made efforts to see Lovely and has accused him of harassment and other conduct involving people she has dated. Her allegations are part of the ongoing legal proceedings.
The child support portion of the case also remains contested. Diamond has sought financial information from Brown as the two sides address the amount of support required, while Brown has maintained that he already provides substantial financial assistance.
Brown responded to the dispute by emphasizing his role as a father to his children. “I TAKE CARE OF ALL MY KIDS!” he wrote in another Instagram Story, adding that the mothers of his other children allow him to be involved in their lives.
The singer subsequently shared supportive messages from Nia Guzman, Ammika Harris and Jada Wallace, the mothers of his other children. The women defended Brown’s involvement with their respective children in social media posts following his statements.
Brown and Diamond welcomed Lovely in January 2022. The current legal dispute has focused on custody, visitation and child support, with Brown seeking joint custody while Diamond has sought primary legal and physical custody.
The case remains ongoing, and the competing claims from Brown and Diamond have not been resolved by a court. Brown continues to perform as part of his R&B Tour with Usher while the custody dispute proceeds.
