Swiss guitarist and composer GIANFRANCO GFN has released his fifth studio album, “GIOMANÈ,” a rich and organic exploration at the crossroads of groove, soul, and acid jazz. The 13-track project out now showcases the artist’s distinctive “GIAZZ!” universe, a vibrant fusion of soul, pop, funk, and blues brought to life by a 15-piece international ensemble.

Recorded over two years between Le Bocal studio in Boudry, Switzerland, and the Ivory Coast for its expansive brass sections, “GIOMANÈ” is a testament to collaborative, instrument-first musicianship. The album was mixed and mastered in Italy, resulting in what GFN describes as a “100% organic album, crafted with authentic instruments, without artifice, where interaction between musicians is at the heart of the creative process.”

Each track tells a story of life, love, and adventure, featuring original compositions by GIANFRANCO GFN and lyrics penned by a collective of writers including Alan Jackson, Patrizia Viccaro, Vladimir Carbone, and David Caraccio. Standout songs such as “Sing The Song,” “SOFT,” and “Boulevard de l’amour / Fall in Love” highlight the album’s narrative and emotional range.

“There is no politics or religion here,” GFN notes, “just pure, sincere, timeless music.” The project began with the single “Sing The Song” in December 2022 and evolved into a full-length journey marked by assertive stylistic choices and heady, immersive grooves.
