NFL Player Keion White Shot Following Alleged Argument With Lil Baby at a Nightclub
San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White was shot early Monday morning in San Francisco following an alleged argument involving Grammy-winning rapper Lil Baby at a nightclub during Super Bowl weekend. According to police reports, the incident occurred around 4:06 a.m. at Dahlia’s, a club on Mission Street hosting late-night Super Bowl celebrations and a private event White was attending. Witnesses told investigators that Lil Baby’s entourage attempted to enter White’s private party downstairs, leading to a verbal altercation between White and the rapper, whose real name is Dominique Jones. Shortly after, at least two gunshots were heard and White was found with a gunshot wound to his left leg, later identified as his ankle.

San Francisco Police Department officers recovered both a 9mm and a .45-caliber shell casing at the scene, but no suspect has been publicly named and the shooter’s identity remains unknown. White was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery on Monday; team and police sources described his injuries as non-life-threatening, with successful surgical intervention and ongoing recovery. Police noted that White was uncooperative with officers at the scene regarding identifying who fired the shots. The 49ers organization has not released a timetable for White’s return to practice. Authorities continue to review surveillance footage and pursue leads in the investigation as the case develops.
