Ciara to Headline First TikTok Awards in the U.S.

Ciara is confirmed as the headline performer for TikTok’s first-ever TikTok Awards in the United States, set to take place on Thursday, December 18 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The announcement comes as the social media platform prepares to celebrate the creators, trends, and cultural moments that defined 2025, marking a major expansion of its global awards initiative into the U.S. market.

The awards ceremony, themed “New Era. New Icons.” by TikTok, is designed to honor the most influential creators across 14 fan-voted categories, including Creator of the Year, Video of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and others that reflect the diverse content driving engagement on the platform. Voting for creators opened in November and closed earlier this month, with fans participating through an in-app hub created for the event.

Ciara’s performance at the inaugural U.S. show underscores the platform’s focus on music and movement, areas where her work has gained significant traction among TikTok users. The ceremony will be streamed live on TikTok at 6 p.m. PT and will also air on the streaming service Tubi, with red carpet coverage beginning at 5 p.m. PT.

TikTok has announced a lineup of presenters joining the event, blending internet creators and mainstream personalities in celebrating the year’s achievements. Confirmed names include Paris Hilton, Bethenny Frankel, Tan France, and others participating in honoring standout creators.

The launch of the U.S. TikTok Awards comes as TikTok expands its presence in global entertainment spaces, building on similar events held in other countries and extending its cultural footprint through live events and creator recognition.
